ARs: - Mike LaBonte to publish web page for IBISCHK701 - This was done. IBISCHK7 parser development: Mike LaBonte showed the page. Randy pointed out that the IBIS Parsers page was out of date, and the webmaster would fix that. Mike noted that the IBISCHK7 page did not link to that. Bob said all source code licensees had the new code. AR Mike add Mac AR Randy Wolff to announce IBISCHK 7.0.1 by email IBISCHK7 source code license: Bob Ross reported that 8 of 9 expected payments had been received. The last was received Jan 31. New IBISCHK bugs: Bob noted that we had BUG209 fixed before classifying it. BUG207: Randy Wolff showed BUG207. He noted we had not yet decided whether this is truly a bug, and if we should have limited checking for a well defined special case. We did not know if the new check would make any existing models fail. Mike LaBonte suggested that would be a good question to ask the wider audience at the upcoming summit. Bob Ross said 3-state models could complicate the check. Randy said the special case was only for models with either Model_type Output or I/O, with the Submodel enabled in all driving modes. Bob said the Submodel data for the case at hand could have been in the main model. Mike said the check for VT endpoints against IV prediction was only for driving mode, the existence of non-driving modes was irrelevant. Bob said we would be breaking a rule if the new parser could flag existing models that previously passed. Mike said the modified check could be applied only for IBIS 7.0 files and above, although he did not prefer to do it that way. Bob said that would break our architecture. He said this would affect the Ramp check too. Also, there would be different messages for checking the whole model and just the main model. Randy said we could choose to make no change, especially since there was a workaround for model construction. Mike suggested documenting the limitation in the IBISCHK7 User Guide. He also noted that the check was documented as W1503, but IBISCHK would also print E1503 depending on the extent of the violation. IBIS-ISS parser: Discussion was tabled. Mike LaBonte moved to adjourn. Bob Ross seconded. Without objection the meeting ended. Meeting ended: 12:02 ET Next meeting January 21, 2020
